(no subject)
Writing a question for a final sucks, especially when you haven't been paying attention in class at all, and your fellow TA's hate your guts for being laid-back. Oh well, just 4 more days to go, then i'm done with all the bs for a full quarter. Then it's back to building my cure for cancer. I love my job, but i hate all the bullshit that comes along with it.
Some people need to learn that students aren't children and it's not your job to act as their strict mother who punishes them for mundane stuff. We're barely older than them for goodness sake. Although if the other two TA's truly feel this way, they are inflicting some serious child abuse on the students in our class. Already a lot of the homeworks i grade have crazy writing on them directed at the TA's like "this hw sux" and "I will kill you all."
Nothing quite like reading a death threat while correcting a midterm to make you realize that these guys are wound up too tight and are being pushed too hard by the TA's. Our average is already in the 60s, and i'm being yelled at by one of the other TA's for grading "too easy". Too easy?? oh you mean giving someone points for getting the answer right is letting them get off too easy? I swear, these TA's need to get a life, so that we can free up the students to get one.
