Despite everything, I had a great weekend. Camping was okay, before it got ruined thanks to the DNR. It started off rocky because everyone was crabby and it seemed like we spent most of the time running around trying to get things together. That made Matt really crabby lol. Then we were all drinking and having a good time...the DNR came...2 minors got busted drinking...and the camping trip was over. It really sucked but even though we got kicked out of the campsite my weekend was not ruined. A group of us went back to my house on Saturday morning (we had to leave the campsite by 8a.m. Saturday)we spent the day at Stoney, canoing and paddle boating, which I thought was great, even though I hurt my foot and have bruises all over my leg from when the canoe capsized. It was a perfect day out and was the perfect opportunity to make up for a rough start on Friday, if you were in the right frame of mind. Then after canoing and barbecuing Angie and Britt left so Matt, Lisa and I spent the rest of the night relaxing, them sleeping over at my house. Sunday was Matt's dad's birthday so I spent the day at his house, hanging out. Overall I think the weekend was great, there were minor bumps, but I really think everything happened for a reason.
