You make me feel like a natural woman.
I had to take Tess to the vet today. That was no fun. Poor baby starts shaking before she even walks into the building. And, really, I can't blame her. Every time she's there something bad happens. Well, not really terrible, but nothing fun ever goes on in there. She had to get her annual vaccinations today and her nails needed to be clipped. She hates getting her nails clipped as it is, but the guy accidentally clipped one nail to short and she was bleeding. I felt horribly for her. She did pretty well, though. But I don't think I have ever been covered in so much dog hair.
I then took her home really quickly and threw on my clothes for the Dekwanukamas parts. I proceeded to HEB, where I bought paper plates and cups that I don't think were used at all. I also bought some Oreo's for Aaron to thank him for taking my place. He is such a cool guy.
Dekwanukamas was quite fun. I looked pretty fly in my incredibly festive outfit. Or at least I would like to think I looked fly. We did a "multicultural elephan gift exchange" and I got one of the Me First and the Gimme Gimme CDs, not a bad gift in my opinion. Especially considering poor Katie was stuck with a penny, a battery, and something else crappy. Then Joe gave me his sweater-lint-remover. It's freaking awesome. At first it didn't work, but luckily Katie had that battery she recieved and let us use it. It's really quite an amazing little machine. It's kind of gross to see all the lint, though. Anyway, we also played a very condensed game of Fugitive, and some people took it way too seriously. For real. I still don't know if Kristina and Emily were ever found. haha
Skip back a few hours- I got a Boo-bah doll from Angie and Kristen and "A Charlie Brown Christmas" from Angie. I love that movie so much! And my Boo-bah is totally awesome. In a slightly creepy way....
I'm still asking Santa for a miracle. haha
