june 14th. Today i got up at wills place after he got home from summer school. He wanted me to go get his girlfriend, so we went and picked her up. We all decided to go for a swim. I have no swam in years it seems. I got out justins wetsuit and put it on because I was a little cold and wanted some sun protection. The chlorine makes my hair feel so gross. Will tried to get the hottub working, but to no real avail. I got out of the hot tub when chris decided to come over. When he got to wills we moved all of wills drums into his room to prepare for recording. We actually hooked up everything really well. Some more of wills friends came over as Gerald was talking to me about how great the Chicago concert was. He just rambled away. When I came back to the room, some of Wills friends were hanging out in it. Chris and I got some levels working, arranged a little, and before long we were recording drum tracks. It took us a couple tries, but soon enough we had a good track. From there we decided to try to get the acoustic track done. After some careful tuning we gave it a shot. It wasnt long before we also got that to sound good. One of wills friends who got into an argument with another friend needed a ride to some place east of Garland, so I took her home. She is a really fucked up kid. Shes a tramp and all into drugs it seems. However, I couldnt allow her to walk like 4 hours at 11 at night. When we got back Chris and I started trying to EQ a bit, but Gerald came in and started giving us advice on our music. Chris didnt give him enought bullshit, so Gerald started yapping away as usual. He apparently doesnt understand how anyone can see the world in a different way than he does. And he doesnt want you to explain yourself, if you didnt do what he wanted it doesnt matter why. After he left Chris and I worked some more until I had to take wills girlfriend home. I got back to wills and Gerald talked to me for over an hour. It was the same old shit as to how our parents are fucked and he moved to america and believed in my when no one else would. Its funny because debbie is the only one who has any sense, but when she talks he just blows her off. He also told me that he wanted me to talk to will about sex. After that lovely conversation, I went back to wills room and messed around for a little while. Pretty soon I was turning in.
