Current Pumpkin Thoughts

Two new pumpkins of the SugarPie variety have been procured. MMM. PUMPKINS.

I think I will roast them for maximum flavor for the filling. I will brush them with the Spicy Honey that I have.

Then they will be pureed. With cream? Without? With fresh sheepsmilk ricotta? Only time will tell. Depends on the flavor.

Meanwhile, I'll reduce the pomegranate with a (couple of) vanilla pods.

Steam the leeks.

Wrap leeks around pumpkin fillign and take it down to habeasbrulee's. Either grill them or broil them. Pomegranate sauce on side.
