midnightstation came over last night so that i could try and fix his computer. we spent a couple of hours on it, and he bought us dinner. a BPALer came over and we swapped some BPAL, and it took longer than i intended.
we went to sleep at about 11:30.
buster_kitten woke me up at 3 a.m. wanting to play or be fed.
i put him in his house at about 3:30 and tried to go back to sleep. they just replaced the light outside the basement, and it's yellow. it is the same color as a fire in the basement. i got freaked out and went ot make sure that it wasn't a fire. for those who don't know, when i was 18 our apt. burned up in a fire -- that started in the basement. so this fear is a pretty reasonable one considering. checked -- it was the new light that i knew nothing about prior to last night, not a fire. thank goodness.
slept lightly. dreamt of BPAL (missing a re-release of my favorite perfume ever), the project (everything dying/not being complete), and a series of grusome murders and rapes by mobs. had no rest.
woke up past alarm, and still not rested. buster_kitten shat on 3rd floor of his house. :( mean kitty. midnightstation discovered it when he went to feed him. cleaned it up. showered. washed hair. while washing hair, midnightstation joined me in shower while my eyes were closed and i JUMPED when i opened them and there was a MAN in the shower with me! he hugged me and i laughed because if i didn't laugh, i was going to cry from exhaustion.
he's coming over tonight again to be supportive so i can do what little prep i can for Opolis. i can do some prints of characters and cut them out and shellac them. and i can make business cards to hand out.
other than that? friday is my day to work.
i just hope i can sleep before then, at least a little bit. rest would be really a nice thing. and the energy to get laid too.
