wikipedia lists historical events for dates. i knew Tolkien and i shared a birthday (his eleventy-first birthday was my thirtieth), but very cool that the first Acid Test at the Fillmore was on my birthday in 1966. and two baseball events, the first one causing the curse of the Bambino to fall upon the Red Sox. i'll note that curse was lifted during a solar eclipse during the years i lived in Cambridge.
