We wore purple today
Our little family wore purple today.
People noticed. We told them why.
I only wish we had purple coats, but a few people heard us at least.
Every little bit helps. There's always more to be done - donate time and money to things like the Trevor Project, and Suicide hotlines....
But even tiny things help.
As a parent, I have a goal - to raise a good person from this marvelous child we've been blessed with. To that end, it is my pledge to model for him how to behave - to show how to never be a bully, and how to stand up to a bully. How to be an ally. How to have compassion. How to be caring. How to be a good person.
