The asparagus from the market the other day? It was AMAZING.
I rolled the spears in a bit of olive oil and roasted 'em in the broiler. They smelled like green peas! They were so sweet and delicious. We ate the whole bunch.
Tonight: fried fish (YUM) and more asparugus and spring onions. Maybe spring onion polenta? Mmm. Spring onion polenta, roasted asparagus (why ruin a good thing?) and fried fish (pankno crust). Oh, and sweet pea leaf salad - lightly tossed with orange champagne vinegar. Maybe some fresh herbs.
Oh yes. I love spring.
