Things I wish were on PopPop's Tapes

I wish PopPop had talked about his own life a little bit. He lists everyone he knew, but does not say his relation to them. I'd love to know stories from his own childhood, about the kinds of work he did. I know he was proud of his heritage, and of the community to which he belonged. I know he met Nana in High School and that they were married young and had Dad & Virgil, but I don't know how he met his second wife, Miss Peggy. I wish I did.

Last night I burnt CDs of the tapes for my various relatives. Need to burn more, too.

I wish I could talk to him. I loved him, and still do love him, so very much.
