today at work was brutal. i worked the entire time i was there and by the end of the day i was completely drained from staring at a computer screen all day. for some reason they decided at work to change all of the branding on the online content from 'live' to 'unplugged' so i had to spend 3 hours today opening records, changing 2 words, and saving it. then there was a semi-crisis on the message board when the other people that work there figured out how AWFUL the posts are in certain parts of it so i had to go through and delete tons of the most obscene, racist, and disgusting posts. that is really not fun to have to read that crap.
i got to go to my first producers meeting today. they are going to get me started on creating content records for 3 of the new shows coming out next month. i start training tomorrow. theres some wonderfully trashy things to come in the fall and i get to watch it all before you do!!
after work i finally went to steve and barry's when it wasn't packed and got the sarah jessica parker 'bitten' clothing line things i've had my eye on for 2 weeks. a cute tank top, tshirt, and jersey dress all for 30 bucks! i love it. i found out later that sjp herself was at the store earlier in the day - i would have freaked out if i were shopping for her clothes and she was there!
i'm tired so i'll probably check in early tonight. i should be writing for rmr or working on web stuff but i'm not motivated enough today so we shall see what i get done. i have all the research done for an album that drops tomorrow and i just need to write the darn thing but can't get a start. straylight run's 'the needle the space' comes out tomorrow and so does 'icky thump' by the white stripes (there are 2 songs where jack white talks about how he likes redheads... hmmm...)
ben will be here in 4 days! i just invited all my friends to come out with us on saturday - its gonna be fun!
