Chinatown walk-in appts. for medical physical?
A woman I know asked me if I knew of any internists or general practitioners in either downtown Manhattan Chinatown or in Flushing, Queens Chinatown. She is uninsured and hasn't been to a doctor in a couple of years since moving to NYC and hoped there would be some doctor or medical practice or clinic that she can afford.
Unfortunately, she's in a rush: she made an appointment with someone else's G.P., but it took her nearly two months to get this appointment and they just called her to reschedule due to a problem: she won't get another appointment for another six weeks. She needs to get her paperwork completed this week (paperwork is due next Monday).
Main reason is she needs some basic medical paperwork to be completed for a program she's enrolling. She's generally healthy with no health concerns though she'd like to have a G.P. or internist handy for future reference, just in case.
Otherwise, if you know of affordable (and ongoing) facilities or practices outside of Chinatown, feel free to rec.
