Why'd you leave the keys up on the table?

Wednesday night found me driving to a bar in Glendale (or Avondale... not really sure which) and hanging out with Kristal, who was having a relationship-related crisis. She was pretty upset when I got there, but after a few drinks, a few tears, and a few hours of playing pool and pumping copious amounts of money into the jukebox, she seemed to be feeling better. It was good to hang out with her again, since I don't see her too often, but it kinda sucks that it had to be under such dire circumstances. I haven't heard much from her since that night, so hopefully she's doing alright.

Thursday was the usual routine of hanging out on Mill Ave for a bit, then migrating with Dave over to Clicks to shoot some pool and chat with Kellie. They were celebrating September birthdays, so I wound up with a free drink and some free cake, both of which were most appreciated. Dave and I stopped for food on the way home, and later in the evening he made another trek out there to retrieve my driver's license, which I had left with the bartender. Oops.

Friday I stopped to see Marie at the International School of Hair Design (or something), where I finally got the haircut I needed. Much shorter, much easier to manage. I was also treated to a free shampoo, during which I almost fell asleep. Dunno what it is about having my head massaged, but a few minutes of that and I'm in a coma.

Later that evening was "Rock Band 2" and drinks aplenty at Kate and Dave's place. Lauren was in town, which was a nice treat, and we did a nice duet on "Man in the Box" - she couldn't handle the low parts, and I couldn't handle the high parts, so we made a good team. I also remember singing "Chop Suey," "Everlong,” and for reasons that I can only attribute to alcohol, "Down With the Sickness." I'm somewhat ashamed to admit that last one.

The rest of the weekend has pretty much consisted of work and sleep. I've felt fatigued these past couple of days, just a complete lack of energy. Hopefully I'm not coming DOWN WITH some sort of SICKNESS.

Sorry.

Leaving for Indiana in a couple of days. I have to be at the airport by 5:00am on Wednesday, and I get back late the following Monday. Looking forward to seeing the family and whatnot. I'll try to update while I'm gone, but limited computer access means limited blogging capabilities. You'll just have to try not to miss me too terribly much.
