25. The first Kentucky Fried Chicken franchise opened in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1952. Are you a fan of fried chicken?
I like fried chicken. I haven't had it a very long time. We use to call the Kentucky Fried Chicken in my hometown Barney's Barf Bucket. To be fair we still bought their gravy for our fries from the local burger shack.
26. In September 1955 the very first TV advertisement was broadcast on UK TV. Do TV ad breaks annoy you?
Since we watch 99.9 percent of streaming content ads are not an issue. However I hate ads when faced with them and on the tv I hit the mute button as fast as possible.
27. In 1946 Hergé published the first Adventures of TinTin. Do you remember the cartoon (comic books or TV series)?
Nope. I have heard of it but probably around the time I was well into adulthood...like say 35.
28. International Rabbit Day - have you ever seen wild rabbits?
Quite frequently actually. We have created a whole story about rabbits that goes with a bear story I invented stuck in traffic in 2003 on the return drive at the end of our vacation.
29. Do you like (or have you ever had) Chai tea?
Most definitely love Chai. I don't drink coffee so Chai is my hot drink.
30. The United Nations celebrates International Translation Day to celebrate professional language translators. Have you ever used Google Translate?
I have maybe tried two to three times to varying degrees of success. This was early on. I try to avoid all things Google related.
