Politics and stuff

First of all, i'm wondering if anyone still read this? David maybe, because he's a loyal friend! Thank you David!

I would also like to say something about canadian politics. I do not watch nor read the canadian news very often, however i still somewhat know what's happening. Apparently there might be a new election this winter. At first, i thought it was pathetic from the opposition parties who clearly just want to the liberals to leave. The NDP didn't seem too sure on what side they were on whereas the conservative party just wants power backed up by the Bloc who knows that if the conservative win next election, Quebec will be more prone to vote yes at the next referendum (Quebec being an extremely non conservative province).
What i'm asking myself is: is it going to work? Are the conservatives going to win the next elections? I surely hope not although i am leaving Canada soon, i still have 8 or 9 months left here. I am inclined to think that most people would vote against the conservative party because they are clearly showing that all they care about is power and don't follow the interest of the canadian population.
Just like what happened in Montreal at the last municipal elections. I believe that Tremblay won, not because he's a good mayor but because Bourke is pathetic with his desire to be a leader of some sort. After being mayor of Montreal for i don't know how many years, he lost to Tremblay a first time mostly because of the forced municipal mergers. Then he went to the provincial elections but lost and that's when he came back to the municipal elections to lose again. And the worst of all is that he claimed that the results were false. That is what i call funny in a pathetic way!

Ok, where was I? After doing some thinking on that matter, i am starting to wonder if the opposition parties know exactly what they are doing by having elections in winter. Maybe since it's winter and people are busy with the holidays and don't like to go out as much because of the cold weather, the number of people who will vote will be much smaller. The only people who will vote are those stuck up conservatives who want a Canada aka a province of the United States.
Anyways,i hope i'm wrong.
But in the end if the liberals do win again, this is the beginning of a vicious circle...they will be criticized for the exact same things. And even if they do not win, the next government will most probably be a minority government so what's the point? Yeah! Let's spend some more money on campaign when there aren't enough beds in hospitals and when the tuition fees keep on rising.
Yes...that is the world we live in!
