the hives were AMAZING! they're one of those bands that are fun and silly and jumpy-dancy, and they are SO cool live! me + nat + jo + mike were leaping around and dancing right at the front and twas so fun! mesies gonna go buy a hives album tomorrow methinks :)
as expected, the foos were brilliant. they played my hero!!! i was shocked, thats such a cool song but i had no idea they'd play anything apart from monkeywrench off the colour and the shape..but YAY!
they also played hey johnny park, monkeywrench, stacked actors, breakout..and stuff i cant remember. they were really exciting tho.
and andrew wk was hilarious, hes such a sad git.
...and guess who was watching him with me...yes, thats right, the one and only girl_in_decline! hee hee! clare ist muchos nice :) and agreed that andrew wk was a complete and utter twat, which is always a good sign!
oooh! AND i got interviewed for radio 1! and it WILL be played sometime on monday, during lamacq live!
..me, jo + nat were sitting down on the ground with ice creams, and this woman came over and asked us each little questions, and asked us to introduce ourselves and stuff, and recorded it, and its gonna be on lamacq live, for the reading special, tomorrow!
so listen out for *aimee from camberley*, sometime after 8pm on monday, radio 1 :) hee hee
