Thor is pretty ripped for a homeless guy.

Saw Thor this afternoon with jameson9101322 and rosalyn_angel. We had good times. All three of us enjoyed Loki best, though we did like Thor & Co., and Natalie Portman and Co. Really, all the characters were fun and sympathetic in their own ways.

I just happened to care most about Loki. *snugs him*

I was nervous about going, since I didn't know much about the plot, and I also saw a comic at the library the other day about Loki becoming king of Asgard and locking up Thor, then realizing all he'd really wanted was his brother's respect. So he goes to let Thor out, but Thor escapes just before Loki can enter the prison, and smashes Loki to bits with his hammer. During this, all Loki can think is that if he had the chance, he'd just do the same thing all over again. Why? Because they are all gods, unchanging, and Loki can't help striving for what he can never have, the same way the other gods can never learn to give him what he needs. Heartbreaking. Should really read the entire comic rather than getting sucked in on the library floor and then realizing I've not read the entire beginning. :P

But yes. Thor the film had more sympathetic characters and less hopelessness than that comic. Also, a different plotline. I enjoyed it. ^_^
