Cthulhu, Avatar: Book 3, and the fangirl squee that was choked off by even louder squee

On Tuesday, I won three out of three games of Cthulhu Munchkin. It probably helps that all of us were learning. kerobaros and satanthe42nd brought the game to my house, and after they set up our surround sound (how do they DO these things?! *boggles at the tech-savvy*) and went through all my Garage Sale WTF!old Electronics with me, telling me what things were and whether they were even give-away-able at this point, they cracked out the game, and we had good times into the wee hours. It was fun to win without being ruthless, as I suck at not personalizing games to at least some extent, and generally feel guilty about doing bad things to good people. We must get jameson9101322 and rosalyn_angel to play with us. And really, we need a monthly game night for board and card and dice games. Because we are geeks, and that would be kickass.

(My dog is lying against my legs with his head on my ankle. He is so cute! ^__^)

Last night, rosalyn_angel came over to show me more Avatar: The Last Airbender! We started book three, and watched the first 11 episodes. And OMFG THE EPIC. The whole time, I was smiling and squeeing and being proud of everyone for being awesome, among many other emotions that this show is amazing at manipulating because it's So Well Done, and So Well Written and Characterized and World-Built and OMFG AMAZING. If I ever write a TV series, I want it to be as awesome as this one. Because this one has set a standard of excellence, and proven it can be done if the writers throw their hearts into a project, and the networks let them do what they do best. So, uh, yes. I really hope rosalyn_angel comes over again tonight, because we stayed up until 4am watching Avatar, and I only called it quits because I wanted to be fully awake for the awesome, and also, she had to get home by 7am. >_> I really hope I get to watch the rest tonight! *___*
