Oh it's good to be back home again.
I have a new phone. Again.
This time, however, it is a different model, not just a replacement of same. I hope this phone works better than the last one(s). It was troublesome taking trips to the Sprint store every other week because my [brand new replacement] phone was breaking.
Reading Take Joy by Jane Yolen, which hg_retrograde recced to me years ago. It's really good (not surprisingly), and I'm glad to finally be reading it. ^_^
Tomorrow I will meet with a teacher who is wonderful, and talk writing. Then it is off to estelwen's house for the evening/night, during which there will be much geekery. When I get back to StL, it'll be time to see bloodmeridian and the DadFam, though not at the same time.
This weekend, I made a list of all the stories I've started that are not submission-ready. There are a lot of them, most incomplete rather than finished drafts. Writing blurbs for all of them took ages...but it is done now. Thank goodness I'm compulsive about keeping lists, and had done most of the title gathering already. I'd say the blurbs are all hg_retrograde's fault for including them in her List, after which I modeled mine, but she told me I didn't need to do them (after I'd started). Since I figured I owed her, however, for making her update so I could be nosy beg her to write faster encourage her to write more, and since I am compulsive and [selectively] not a quitter, I finished them anyway. Huzzah.
