I don't put games on my phone, generally. Or, really, ever. Or on my computer, now; they're not nearly as fun and brain stretchy as when I was little and we played things like Math Blaster and those Encarta encyclopaedia labyrinthine stories set in a medieval fantasy world full of doors that needed opening and music that was eerie in the dark. Also, most games don't really make me feel like I'm being productive--just like I'm wasting my time, doing busywork that's entertaining but has no real value. I don't like that.
But some games, like Tetris, which
jameson9101322 has on her awesome new phone, are enough to tempt me into downloading games to my phone.
I didn't actually get Tetris. Instead, I got Word Up (a word finding game) and Math Workout (which I enjoyed so much I actually bought the regular version so I could play in more than Lite mode).
I've played more word and math games today than I have in a while. I have also played them for longer than I've done the homework I'd planned to do this afternoon.
...At least I feel like I've done something halfway worthwhile with that time?
