The ReGZ is almost done now, but it's just a copy of the Zeta. It's useful, but it's really meant more for high speed pursuit than anything else.
I'm not ready to throw the towel in on the Gundam, either. Back during the One Year War, there where a lot of plans to upgrade Gundam, but for one reason or another none of them were able to go through...
*did not even notice. :3cnewtypeamuroJanuary 28 2010, 10:10:59 UTC
I'm... glad to hear that.
The most promising upgrade plan that I've been able to find was a full armor option. At the time it was too cumbersome to be practical, but since then technology has come a long way. Look at the virtue and the GAT-X102.
I'm betting we could take the basic concept and create something that's not only more useful, but more powerful as well.
Well, what I can do is start brainstorming with you during my off time. I'll admit, I don't get a lot of it, but I think between the two of us, we can figure out a way to make Gundam better catered toward what you're going to need.
Adding more armor will help keep the Gundam from taking such heavy damage, but I'd like to add more weapons systems as well. The original plan called for a shoulder mounted rocket launcher and a dual beam canon...
But I think we could probably do better than that now. My main concerns are power output and mobility.
Right. I'd have to take more of an in-depth look at the Gundam's specs to see what kind of output it already dishes out before I can figure out what we have for an allowance, or how we can cut back so we can use more. If that makes sense. Do you have some time in the next few days so we can look at that? I may have to run a few tests too.
I planned on getting a little training done later today in the gym. If you want to meet me, say, around 1600 hours, I should be done by then. Hopefully I won't be too worn out.
I'll bring all of the data I can get. Not everything related to V-Project has been declassified, and we're not exactly on the Federation's pet list right now, but I'll bring what I can.

I think it might be time to reevaluate that.

Unfortunately without the ReGZ or the Gundam, there isn't much I could do right now if I wanted too... I'm free whenever you are.

We'll just fill the gaps with what we have here.
