I, er, had it taken away by my aunt.

I accidentally blew up her teakettle.

I already did but one with what I had saved up. She was quite put out. I was charming the kettle to sing Christmas carols, you see. And, well, let's just say the whole event was rather messy.

She ought to reinstate my allowance by Valentine's day. I hope.
