   because of their unfailing trust and faith in you. and the way they always seemed pleasantly surprised no matter what you are doing. and delicious punkin pie.
5. jumping up and down:
   tensing all of your muscles to thrust yourself from the confines of this planet for a few nanoseconds of liberation.
6. movies:
   because in 200 years, people will be wondering what went through our heads. they will look at our movies. some of them are bad. some of them are good.

   hmmm.....
8. scarves:
   they keep you safe from the roaring winter winds. and they come in many different colors.
9. the beatles:
   because no matter how much you listen to a song, you can pick up some detail you never heard before. because they were john paul george ringo. because you still hear pauls hofner and ringo's rock steady and george's solos and john's lyricism in just about anything played today.
10. wine:
    because it means my mother, my friends, good food, and love love love. and it turns your lips red.
