Workday

And in a future day there may be waves
But I must say the sky has never looked so clear to me
And oh, I guess we made it
Or at least we made it this far

Okay, so among the things I got accomplished today are hours of mind-numbing but extremely exacting work. Basically, I'm filling in parts of forms and pointing out the parts of the forms that need to be addressed. I took to it really well and had no trouble with a lot of the things others working there (there's a dozen of us) were taking issue with. I guess University has taught me a lot about conformity and forms. I have been created in the image of an edyumakated academic, dontcha know. Best part about this job is that they're cool with me listening to music, so I'm enjoying myself.

Also today I got the photos back from my random Penny Project shoot and a lot of them are really quite excellent. I'll be getting a bunch printed stat, and I got back an email with information on IE, a really interesting photography intensive workshop that goes for a week this summer, in Victoria, B.C. and I am about 90% sure I'll be going there. I decided I may not work full time straight out of school, in fact, I might not even start looking for full time for a good 6 months. I need a break, I've been going hard for a long time and I'm going to be pretty exhausted by the end of this school year.

Anyone in Saskatoon - if you have extra fishline, homeless keys, or interesting locks, please contact me! I'm working hard at a project that requires them and your help saves me money.

I just spent some time re-doing my business website, but I'm only about 25% there - the design is in place and I need to work on the content. I didn't have time for that. I'm just doing it anyway. And then I was going to go to bed and I made adjustments to my iPod playlists instead. I need music to get me through 8 hours tomorrow. Especially on so little sleep. Vicious circle much?
