Beauty
I either forgot to mention the things on my Emma Lake to do list that happened yesterday, or they happened somewhere between my post and two in the morning when I went to bed.
1. I saw a Bambi - a tiny baby deer who was obviously still learning to walk.
2. I got to sit by the campfire listening to a great musician singing along with his guitar.
3. I got to see the Northern Lights reflected in the lake.
Last night the calm lake, the loons, the stars, the Northern Lights - the perfect complement to four guys and me by the fire with some sweet acoustic. Or maybe the other way around.
Sometimes beauty is so commonplace here, I forget to mention it. Imagine that.
