Cause you had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
Today was not really my best day ever, but it certainly wasn't the worst. (So far if I had to pick, best would be the day I got my license, a few days after my family bought me a car, and the worst would be the entire day I spent in gallbladder-related agony.)
I spilled three drinks, a slurpee all over the church kitchen floor, a juice cup in the office, and a quarter cup of water down my shirt. Not even kidding. I was pretty ticked at myself.
I was really shaky, jumpy, and just nervous all day.
Tonight I went to the tail end of a BBQ and got to talk to a number of friends who I hadn't seen in a long time - Aaron Mac, P.D., Joel, and Steven and Camille, who gave me their "Save the Date" card, for which they used one of my Engagement photos of them as a base.
I don't know how it got stuck in my head, but "Somebody's Sending Me Flowers" was a really silly song I sung at my Grad banquet, and it's totally stuck in my head.
Um... yeah. Stuff happened. I have an interview tomorrow, and since I've decided I really do want the job in spite of the gas prices for out of town travel, I should go to bed.
Randomness: I tried celery with strawberry cream cheese. It's really good, oddly enough. Heard of
Sark - a tiny modern island that until recently was still under the feudal system - for the first time. I can't think of any other really good random stuff, but today was very random so I might come up with something later.
