Fluffpost

I was so exhausted yesterday that I went home and went directly to bed after supper for a three hour nap before the big phone call last night. This is uncool, though I feel slightly more rested today. I'm just not used to hitting the wall like that. There is a cheque in the mail for my last logo creation job. This is definitely cool.

Yesterday I went driving with Marion, and my parallel parking skills are definitely way better. I am no longer thinking it's possible to fail this test. I just need to really focus on right shoulder checks and stopping quickly enough for stop signs and stop lines and such, and I should get my license easy.

When I wrote this yesterday, I had added this line: "At which time I'll probably start to seek out a vehicle... Maybe. It's a big expense..." Scratch that. I have a car!

I really hope I hear back about that job soon.

I am on page 204 of Eclipse. I'm starting to hate all the characters except one, and which one could surprise you. I also still hate the writing style for the most part. Still, the plot's good.

Details of an important project I am working on seem to be falling together fairly well, and for that I am grateful.

Fluffposting now.

bretzysdude: Comment and I'll give you a letter. Then you have to list 10 things you love that begin with that letter in a post on your own LJ. Afterward, give out some letters of your own! My letter is G.

I love Gmail. It is the greatest email system I have ever used and it works for me.

I love Giraffes. They are amazingly graceful animals for looking so ungainly. I have some neat giraffe footage from the Calgary Zoo.

I love Gentlemen. Basically, I am greatly impressed by respect and door-opening.

I love God. Nuff said.

I love Gravy boats. I know that's super random, but have you seen some of the ornate metalwork on gravy boats from back in the day? They're gorgeous! And the shape is usually sleek and awesome.

I love my Grandma. She's the most fantastic person. She's finally started writing down tons of recipes for me, which is very useful!

I love the gall bladders of this world. When they're working for other people, or when they're GONE. I hated mine for a long time, though, without even knowing what it was.

I love Game shows. Well, old school ones mostly, like Family Feud and Price is Right.

I love gardens, as long as I don't have to maintain them! I am not a green thumb by any stretch, but I do like to hang out with the blooms.

I love glasses because they help me see things clearly.
I never thought I'd actually need my own linkspam, but some days I suppose I do? Days like today anyway, where I've spent my day trying to keep myself as vague as possible.

Baby anteater. Rarely do I go all gaga over cuteness, but this one is so sweet.

metaquotes by
fluffworld: "I'm going to go hide in a bunker until this eighties' revival crap is over." Pretty much sums up my thoughts on it as well. Also,
weselan was mentioning the need for a flux capacitor to escape. I ROFLed.

SquareAmerica is a man's collection of photographs of people, random ones. He wanted to collect fine art, but didn't have the cash. This, to me, is way more awesome. I've actually considered starting a similar collection myself - good pictures of strangers... Make sure you check out the sleep photos. They are enchanting. There's just something about taking a photograph of a sleeping person that makes it so much more special. I took one of Janta in Calgary... Speaking of Calgary, I might get the photographic up-to-the-load going on today.
