Cholecystectomy Chronicles Vol. V

Somebody save me
Let your warm hands
Break right through
and save me

Still waiting. I'm kind of out of it today - my brain is functional but kind of fuzzy and it takes a lot of effort to move around. Waiting sucks. I've been watching Smallville and playing on the laptop and visiting with friends, but the waiting still sucks. That's all I've got to say, except that they've upgraded my situation to emergency and given me a more powerful IV drip because I'm on my fourth day not eating. Also, the lady's family across from me keeps bringing in coffee. Hateful people. =)

Today I am sitting by the window, enjoying the view. I am so languid. Oddly, I can't remember simple words like, "the paper towel dispenser" but words like "languid" come easily. Bizarre.

Anyway, the doctors aren't sounding as hopeful as I'd like that I'll get in for surgery today, so plan to come visit me, Saskatoonians. I have Canadian long distance, so if you're in Canada and want to call my cell I am cool with that. Otherwise, send me email! Keep me entertained, people.

EDIT: The last time I was given regarding surgery was "after 4pm" which could, you know, mean anything. All it means to me is "not soon."
