Robin Hood - Season Two Finale *Spoilers*
I am very *impatiently* waiting for my cousin to let me borrow her season three set of Robin Hood. The way BBC ended season two of my favorite TV series was incredibly disappointing. I mean really? MARIAN? Of all the people they could have killed... I mean, her almost dying in the LAST season finale wasn't enough?? I am hoping desperately that the final (sob) season of Robin Hood redeems the writers, although according to various reviews and accidental hints on my cousin's part, I have the feeling that it is not possible. Of course, had Marian not died, than they would have ended on a great note, what with Djaq and Will getting married also.
And there's another point! WHY DID THEY HAVE TO STAY IN THE HOLY LAND? More Djaq/Will moments between my favorite couple would have helped in the redemption of the idiots who wrote that stupid last episode! And for that matter, I know for a fact they don't return in the last season, so the writers have dissapointed me even more. Even just more of the incredibly hawt Will Scarlett would help my depression over their stupid mistakes.
I have come to the conclusion that in the third season, there is very, very little that the writers could possibly do to redeem themselves. Short of bringing Will, Djaq and Marian back, practically nothing. Through, again *accidental* hints dropped by my cousin, I know more characters will be killed off, although the specific names of two of those are still unknown to me. Although with the internet tears I recieved from my dear cousin, I believe I don't WANT to find out. Everything I DON'T want to happen, does, and that which I would like to happen, doesn't. IT'S DRIVING ME NUTS!!!!!!!
