Prologue

Four men were running at maxim speed down the stairs that led to the drainage tunnels of the city. They were wearing black clothes; face and body covered completely, even their eyes were adorned with night visiongoggles. On their backs they wore huge backpacks.

They ran until they reached the sewer, then they changed into professional wetsuits. They put oxygen masks on their faces and they burned all the equipment they previously had been wearing; finally they jumped into the foul smelling, darkened water.

At their backs the deafening sound of a huge explosion could be heard.

Part one: Occupational Hazards

Four adult men were hanging out in a big deposit room. It was their temporal home. They were all playing poker and drinking beer.

“I swear to God that I still smell like poop,” A very attractive and tall guy said; His name was Akanishi Jin.

“Cut it out, drama queen, it has been three weeks,” a gorgeous yet seemingly emotionless man replied. He was Jin´s best friend, Yamashita Tomohisa, “You are just smelling your own shitty scent,” he added mockingly.

“Hahaha, you are so funny, aren´t you?” Jin said sarcastically while glaring irately.

“He is right though, you smell like shit,” One black haired and poison tongued man teased too. That was Nishikido Ryo.

“Maybe you should try washing with industrial´s chemicals,” A young man with glasses interrupted sardonically. He was the youngest between them, and his name was Kato Shigeaki.

“Shut up,” Jin said while pouting.

Yamashita Tomohisa and Akanishi Jin had met each other more than thirteen years ago. Since the minute they met they started an unusual relationship between them: more than friends, but less than lovers. That resumed pretty well what they had: no sex, but pretty close.

They had rough past, with Jin´s father´s abusive tendencies, and Yamapi´s parents abandon, it was only a matter of time before they ended up living on the streets, with no more than the clothes on their backs. Those were hard times, really hard; they had been through a lot of stuff together: hunger, cold, and just plain misery.

One day, when they were sixteen, while they were sleeping under a bridge by some twist of fate they ended up meting a man, a thief named Johnny.

He was a cheap burglar, really talented but not very bright. He wasn´t cold or intelligent enough for that kind of job, and that was why he spent his life robbing the middle class, stealing wallets and some cars, generally nothing really worth the risk or effort, but occasionally he would lift an engagement ring or two.

Their mentor was really talented with martial arts though, and he taught them all he knew about ninjutsu, karate, and kung fu. The sad part of the story was that by the time they were twenty one the man had died of cancer. They were sad about it, but not enough to stop living.

While they were with him, they learned how to steal small things and they were good, no one ever suspected them. But at some point, they realize that those kind of jobs were neither interesting nor challenging, and certainly, and most importantly, they weren´t going to make them rich.

They wanted more.

They realized that they should go where the real money was: Banks.

They were fascinated with the “Ocean´s eleven”movies; they laugh about all those morons that kept trying to rob a bank and always ended up in jail. They didn´t want to end up like that, and for that they needed smart strategies that help them be successful. It was easier said than done, because braking into a secured vault was pretty damn hard, not to mention hell dangerous.

And so, they started to make plans; the first thing they needed to do was train themselves. Their first aim was to gain experience in bank robbery, and of course, the same as Ocean-san had they should gather a team. That was hard too, it wasn´t like they could put an advertisement in a newspaper asking for applicants, because the minute they did that a swat team would be breaking windows, yelling armed guys flying through the old abandon building where they were staying at, not to mention lots of beatings and jail time.

By simply looking at the whole picture, they had two unavoidable problems: first, they had no idea of how to actually enter a vault, and second, once the sirens go off, how the hell would they get out of there? And of course they had no clue as to what kind of equipment they needed for that specific job.

Yamashita, or Yamapi as Jin called him, was the brain of their partnership; he had really good ideas of how to do the job.The guy was brilliant with his plans, and was really well trained in martial arts, but his body didn´t coordinate that well, not like Jin´s, who was very talented in that matter; Jin was the hand labor of the team. He was a master of disguise, and he was fast, really fast, and also sneaky, like a real ninja, which was funny because of his size.

Luck smiled upon them when their little family grew bigger with the arrival of two new members.

Pi and Jin found Nishikido Ryo in an alley shortly after Johnny died. He was badly injured and had old scars all over his body. At first he didn´t want to give details of why he was in such a bad shape, but with time they found out that he was part of a gang. It was his own gang that had almost kill him when he said he wanted to quit and leave them.

When Ryo joined, they thought that nothing was going to change, because at first glance Ryo was only a yakuza, surprisingly intelligent and intimidating, but a yakuza with training more or less similar to Pi’s. They thought they were back to square one, plus a new friend, but not a business partner. They were pretty much shocked when one day they saw Ryo playing with explosives.

The guy was blowing little toy soldiers´ heads off with miniscule homemade bombs. Leaving aside how creepy that was, it turned out that Ryo was a genius when it came to explosives.

Finally Kato Shigeaki, Shige, the youngest of them simply came to them one day; he was lost and looked like someone that hadn’t eaten for a long time. As time passed by, they discovered that his parents had died in a car accident. He was all alone, and by looking at the situation he didn´t have anywhere to go, so he simply stuck with them.

One day, Jin was having problems with some stolen credit cards that he had pilfered when going back home. Shige surprised them all when he took the credit cards, opened his computer and did some mumbo-jumbo, quoting Jin, that gave them the codes to take the money out of those accounts and deposit it onto their own accounts. It turned out that the guy was a hacker; an outstanding one.

Being realistic, they never understood a thing of what Shige did or talked about, but it worked out well for them, because that little boy with glasses that looked like a nerd was really impressive.

The arrivals of Ryo and Shige were a good thing: they have gained not only two brothers, but also two business partners. Half a year after Shige came, they gave their first strike. They robbed a bank in London, one with the biggest security system in the whole world, and yet, it wasn´t enough to stop them.

Newspapers all over the world commented on the amazing job that the thief’s did. They were more impressed than scandalized. It was funny how a bunch of theories about who they were and how they did the job came out. Some of them really close, and othersway too far from the real facts, but they liked it. They were kind of famous at this point. Five years in this job and the police of each and every country, FBI, Scotland Yard, Interpol, etc. had their hands the same way they started: Empty.

Jin was in charge of field work, which meant that he was the one that had to go to the bank, take pictures, film each and every corner of it, and most of times seduce one or two secretaries to gather information about the internal labor and system of the bank. Ryo´s job was to blow up the vault; it was as simple, and as complicated, as that. He was always doing research and buying illegal stuff on the black market, because most of the time, new bank´s vaults systems were half brutal force and half technology, and the two together made it a hell of a work to open them. He was also in charge of eliminating all evidence. Shige had the task of making them invisible; he was in charge of the fake IDs, of the banks security systems, meaning video cameras, alarms and gates. Shige´s job was opening the doors for them and making the whole process as clean as possible. And, of course, to put all the money in their Cayman Island´s bank account that was a fiscal paradise, which was perfect for them. Yamapi was always the first one to pick out a place; he developed the whole plan first, showing them the bank, the security installations, and the city. He was in charge of finding a place for them to live, which was always an old abandoned building or storehouse.

After they did a job they took a month vacation in whichever place they liked, and then they flew to wherever their new job was. They never stayed in one place for more than three months, they had to organize the whole thing in less than that; and then they stole the money, blew up their temporary home and finally flew out of the country before the police even noticed the felony. They had some rules: never kill anyone and never leave evidence, the last one was Ryo´s most important job, fire was the best way of erasing any traces. Sometimes they were preoccupied with the explosions; they feared that maybe they could hurt somebody, but Ryo was a clean guy, he always worked with implosion and a cooler system to control them, so said explosions never hurt anybody and they always looked like accidents, which was good for not raising any suspicions.

So in summary, that´s how fifteen bank robberies, and eight hundred million dollars later that bunch of different personalities were working and living together.

“So I have picked out the new place,” Pi said in a nonchalant tone.

“Eh already?” Jin whined “I like it here, South America has the hottest girls in the whole world!” he said excitedly.

“True, but we have to leave this place in a week, and we should start packing already, remember that we are only taking our clothes, I don´t want to hear any complaints about someone´s shoe collection,” Pi continued while looking at Ryo pointedly, the latter pouted cutely.

They continued talking without realizing Shige was silently raising his bet. He surprised them when he won more than ten thousand dollars with an Aces poker.

“Oh fuck!” Ryo complained, “This guy must be cheating! I´ve lost more than a hundred thousand bucks tonight!” he cursed.

“Well you are not the only one!” Yamapi said while sighing.

“Do you know the saying: ´God will pay you back´?” Jin asked Shige while taping his shoulder.

“You know that I´m a hacker that knows the numbers to all your bank accounts by heart right?” Shige said smiling playfully.

“I miss the shy nerd in you Shige!” Ryo said smirking.

“Guess that hanging out with us is a bad influence on you,” Jin added grinning.

“I can´t deny that!” Shige replied and took a sip of his beer.

They all laughed out loud. But Pi´s mind kept working.

“Jin remember that you need to buy the silicone paste for our makeup, we need to look like Irish people this time, so don´t forget the wigs and the eye contacts. Ryo you need to buy the explosives to blow up this place after we go, make sure to use a disguise when going to the hardware store, and Shige, we need the IDs and exchange money for the trip,” he said ignoring his friend’s lack of attention.

“Yes leader,” Pi heard a chorus of voices making fun of him.

“Oi! We need to have everything ready soon!” he complained.

“Hai, Hai,” they all replied and chuckled.

“Where are we going this time?” Shige asked Pi.

“Kuala Lumpur,” Pi simply responded.

“Oh I love Malaysia!” Jin said while clapping his hands excitedly, “the food is sooooo good!” he ended.

“You should take care of your diet more, what would we do if our ninja got too fat to climb walls?” Ryo asked mockingly.

“Oi! I´m not fat! I´m agile as a hawk!” Jin said while adopting a funny kung fu pose.

They all laughed at him when while doing so Jin tripped and landed on his butt.

“Hahahaha! Really agile Bakanishi!” Pi made fun of him.

“That didn´t count, I´m drunk!” he justified himself.

“Yeah right….” Ryo said sarcastically.

“Anyway boys, I´m exhausted, I´m going to sleep, are you coming?” Pi asked Ryo. The latter just nodded and stood up.

“I´m going to fool around, I´ll go out and see if I can find a hot and curvy Puerto Rican girl to spend the night with,” Jin said also standing up.

“Don´t be late, remember that….” Pi started.

“Yeah yeah, chill out dude!” Jin said and headed to the door.

“I´ll go and play some ´World of Warcraft´ online,” Shige said and went over to his computer, “I´ll use earplugs just in case,” he said while staring at Pi and Ryo pointedly.

“Oi, We are not that laud!” Ryo protested while blushing lightly.

Shige never answered, he already had his earplugs in and was already playing some roll game like a man possessed.

Pi took Ryo by his hand and lead him to their room; once the door was closed he embraced Ryo by his back and kissed him on the neck. Ryo moaned softly at the sweet touch and turn around as they kissed passionately. Pi´s sinful hands traveled mischievously along the smaller figure. He lost all train of thoughts when Ryo stroked him…

Part Two: The Truth About Us

Pi observed Ryo lying gloriously naked, some light filtering through the window. He couldn´t sleep. That happened to him a lot lately.

This kind of life was fun, thrilling, and certainly not boring at all. They were a good team, and they cared about each other. But he was worried; what was keeping him away from sleep wasn´t their next job. It was Ryo. Ryo and the weird thing they had.

They started to sleep together more than three years ago, it was a drunken mistake at first, but they never stopped doing it. Jin was really jealous when they started to fuck each other. It was like Jin felt more than simple friendship for him sometimes, but then, Jin wasn´t in love with him. That was weird too, it seemed like all people around him, himself include, had weird feelings pumping through their hearts.

Jin and Ryo fought a lot at that time; they once got into a fist fight even. That was the first time Pi had cried in years. He couldn´t see the two people he loved the most fighting like that, least of all because he knew that Jin and Ryo cared about each other a lot. He had realized that he was in love with Ryo at that point, and Jin´s real feelings were a mystery to him. Jin was a puzzle for him sometimes.

Fortunately, his jealous baka friend stopped being a moron when he realized that Pi wasn´t going to leave him because of Ryo. That was when he understood Jin. Pi was the only family Jin had and he wasn´t willing to lose that for anyone, not even Ryo. They have spent their lives together and Bakanishi was afraid of losing him.

It was funny that when everything turned up for good and Pi asked Ryo to be his boyfriend the latter rejected him without a second thought.

So now what they had was complicated; they screw each other, but they weren´t a couple. Ryo rejected the possibility of them being one long ago, and Pi never insisted again. He was too hurt.

Yes a weird relationship they had, but an exclusive one.

He stared at Ryo peacefully sleeping and he couldn´t help but wonder why the latter was so into denying what was happening between them. Ryo loved him, he knew that, and that was why he couldn´t understand the latter´s reasoning.

Jin told him that it was maybe because of his past. Ryo never talked about his past. Pi wasn´t sure about Ryo´s reasons, what he knew was that even though Ryo didn´t want to put the “boyfriend” label on their relationship they were exactly that. Boyfriend & Boyfriend.

To put it into simple words, Ryo put forth some unbreakable rules: Pi wasn´t allowed to sleep with other people; they must share a bed every night; Pi wasn´t allow to go out partying without him; and Pi had to kiss him good morning, good bye, good night; and give him anniversary presents always.

He chuckled and kissed Ryo´s temple. If he didn´t follow the rules, Ryo would go ballistic, and the ex yakuza was terrifying when he was pissed off, not to mention that he would ban sex for weeks if Pi messed things up.

The worst thing he had done was when he forgot their two year anniversary, he still remembered how Ryo yelled at him and threw all the new and shiny equipment they needed for the job at that time, which had cost more than a million dollars, onto his head. He fell unconscious when a huge night watch lens broke in his head. After he felt ok again he thought that Ryo would feel guilty or something and would go running to his arms and ask his forgiveness. The hell he would! He didn´t do anything of the sort, instead he screamed at him some more calling him a pussy that faints with no reason and that he could forget about sex for the next century. Lucky for him, it took Ryo just four more weeks to stop being mad at him.

And the makeup sex was so good!

So yeah, they were boyfriend and boyfriend, but Ryo called what they have as a friendship thing. Friends with benefits he would say at times, but he got really jealous if someone stared at Pi in an inappropriate way.

So yeah…weird…

He sighed tiredly, and the worst part was that not even once had Ryo ever said that he loved him. It was obvious, but nevertheless sometimes you need to hear out loud that the person you love loves you back. Well he shouldn’t sit around waiting to hear those three special words, because that seemed to be unlikely to happen.

He looked at Ryo some more and rubbed his nose onto the latter´s features.

“I love you,” he said and kissed him sweetly on the lips, “When are you going to tell me that you love me back?” he asked softly with a lump in his throat.

Ryo stirred in his sleep and hugged him. Yamapi sighed once again; at least he had Ryo right? That was his last thought after hugging Ryo back tightly and finally fell asleep.

Next Morning

“My head is killing me,” Jin whined while drinking coffee.

“My fingers are killing me,” Shige also whined and drank some milk.

“My butt is killing me,” Ryo nagged while wincing visibly.

“Well Jin, you shouldn´t have gotten that drunk, and having one night stands in that state is not really smart. Shige there´s a limit to how many hours you can play online before your fingers turn out that messed up, and Ryo.…mmmm.…” Pi said in a matter of fact tone before shutting his mouth abruptly.

“Ryo what?” Ryo asked glaring at him, “I´m going to top for the next month you know!” he ended piercing his eyes at him.

Pi blushed and didn´t respond.

“Could you two please leave your love life details in the four walls of your room? We don´t want to know!” Shige barked at them. Shige was fiercely straight, not like Jin who went both ways.

“I could hear some more,” Jin said smiling perversely.

“You are disgusting you know that?” Shige said to Jin.

“At least I´m not a virgin,” Jin replied mockingly at Shige.

“I´m not a virgin!” Shige answered offended.

“You know that online sex is not real sex right?” Ryo asked teasingly.

“Yeah, and as far as you know, you can be talking with Bob the janitor guy,” Pi joined the mockery.

They all laughed at Shige and continued having breakfast. Shige ignored them and shoved some omelet in his mouth.

“We know that you are chatting with some mysterious person on the net” Pi said and stared at Shige.

“Oh yeah, Bob!” Jin said mockingly.

Shige glared at him and didn´t answer.

The truth was that they were a little worried about Shige these days, for the last three weeks he kept chatting with someone and they didn´t know who. They were afraid that that person could be some undercover agent, or someone that could hurt Shige badly. To be honest, Shige wasn´t really experienced in relationship matters, not that they could judge, but at least they knew that they couldn´t trust anyone. And Shige seemed the type of guy that could end up blowing their cover because he trusted or fell in love with the wrong person.

“You do realize that you can´t tell any personal details to anyone, don´t you?” Pi asked in a bossy manner. Ryo and Jin kept quiet and stared at the younger member of their family.

Shige looked at them immediately.

“I´m not that stupid you know!” he said annoyed and left the room irate.

“You pushed it too far,” Ryo said.

“But it´s dangerous right?” Pi asked them.

“It is, maybe we should track his conversations on his computer,” Jin suggested.

“Yeah, three monkeys manipulating a high tech thing full of a hacker´s security passwords. Surewhy not!? I´m good with research and Google, not social networks!?” Pi said sarcastically.

“Oi, I work with high tech stuff!” Ryo clarified.

“So could you hack Shige´s laptop?” Pi and Jin asked him at once.

“…………”

They laughed at their own stupidity and washed the dishes, leaving that matter to worry about later on.

Pi started to work with the Kuala Lumpur draft and started to make plans: way of entering the building, escape routes and all the necessary information they needed for that job. The loot this time was more than three hundred million, which meant that minus their usual expenses in equipment, travel expenses, etc. that normally ascended to fifty million, this time it would take twice that much, and leave them fifty million each.

It was a good deal, but they had one problem, the rapid urban development in Kuala Lumpur in the last few decades has imposed severe loads on drainage systems resulting in an increase in runoffs, mudflows, water pollution and, most importantly, flash floods. Clogs in the drains due to silting, or due to rubbish, reduce the drain capacity further, hence increasing the magnitude of the problem. In conclusion, their usual way of escaping was out of question this time; they would need a new plan in that matter.

He analyzed the areas surrounding the bank. He had a huge map on the floor and a ruler in his hand thinking hard how they should do it. It was the biggest challenge he had to face since they started doing this job. He was so concentrated that he didn´t see Ryo entering the room with a huge box in his hands.

Ryo smiled and approached Pi. He let his body land on Pi´s lap, making the latter jump in surprise. He grinned and kissed Pi deeply. Then he stood up and observed how Pi was staring at him dumfounded.

“Did you just want to make me lose focus?” Yamapi asked him.

“I don´t like when you pay more attention to other thing that aren’t me,” the black haired man answered and smirked at him.

Pi grinned back; his heart pounded nosily against his chest, baka Ryo-chan was so odd when stating things.

“Are you jealous of a piece of paper?” Pi asked knowingly.

“Of course not!” Ryo replied glaring at him. He took the box again and started to put volatile devices on the building´s pillars. Pi smiled and resumed his task too.

Ryo was the most oblivious, cute boyfriend/friend with benefits ever. He smiled contently as he continued his task.

Part Three: Minor Problems

Three days later

Jin had everything ready; he had bought the wigs, the silicon, the contacts, clothes, and even new perfumes, they always bought new ones to avoid police dogs at the airport security. They never travelled with the exact equipment they needed for their crimes; they always bought it at the black market once they reached the place of the robbery, having previously contacted the black market supplier that offered what they wanted.

Shige had the IDs, the alias profiles, and also he had created some sad story about one of them losing his wife, so they were supposedly going to Kuala Lumpur where the dead wife was met long ago. He had also prepared a security airport black out backup plan if anything went wrong and for some reason they ended up in jail. If he didn´t command the computer to stop the procedure, his computer would give an order to the airport computer system to turn off all the machines and huge smiling faces would appear instead of information in those computers. The benefit of that was simple: they couldn´t start to research about them without computers.

Ryo was checking the devices in the building; they were leaving behind a month of life, and all the new plan´s, maps, and equipment they needed while planning their next job. He had also prepared some manual explosive device undetectable by eye, machine, or scent; he had disguised the explosive paste with his shoe sole. They could use them if anything happened. They just needed some minor manipulation before being detonated; the detonator was hidden inside his watch´s mechanical devisers.

Finally Pi, well Pi was at an impasse.

“We need to talk,” He said to his team. He observed how Jin was brushing a wig, Ryo was opening his watch, and Shige was laminating their drivers´ licenses.

They all observed Pi´s anxious look, that wasn´t good. Their leader was always confident, and seeing him with such an expression on his face wasn´t good.

“What´s wrong?” Ryo asked worried.

They all approached Pi, who extended a huge map on the floor.

“We have a problem,” he said. The rest frowned, that was the first time Yamapi said something like that.

“What kind of problem?” Shige asked unsure.

“With the escape route,” Pi simply said “We can´t escape like we usually do because all the drains in Kuala Lumpur are clogged. I´ve found, nevertheless, one that´s not that’s just outside the town, but it´s thirty kilometers away from the bank,” he explained.

“Mmmm, well that´s not a problem, we can get a van; go there and then Ryo can blow it with all the tools in it.” Jin suggested.

“We can´t,” Pi said sighing tiredly, he had huge dark circles under his eyes, “Shige you can explain this better than me”.

Shige looked at him, and then at the others and frowned.

“Well, the security system of the bank is a new one, I need really good and expensive stuff for this job, and even with that I can only give us ten minutes. I can put a virus into the system, but it would only give us a short time before all the silent alarms activate and the police will be breathing on our necks before we said ´shit, ´ and between those ten minutes we need to enter the building, break into the vault and escape from there,” he ended and looked at them preoccupied.

“What? How is that possible!? Aren´t you a hacker or something? Then do your mumbo-jumbo and give us some time!” Jin shouted angrily at Shige.

“How come you tell us this two days before we should be going there!” Ryo stated, irritated as well.

“We can actually do it,” Pi interrupted. “They would be the shortest ten minutes of our lives, but we can definitely do it. The van with Kuala Lumpur traffic, that even at ungodly hours is more than hectic, is too slow; we can´t run away in one of those,so that´s why we need faster vehicles,” Pi stated.

“But even with those we can´t break the vault in that short of time, it´s impossible!” Ryo affirmed.

“Well, actually, the ten minutes will be enough for us to enter, break into the vault and leave the bank. I´ve been watching videos of the security cameras of the bank, courtesy of Shige,” he said while smiling at the youngest member that felt crushed at that moment. Shige didn´t like to feel incompetent or like he wasn’t fulfilling his role in the group well enough, “and I have counted all the steps and the tempo that it’ll take from the main door of the bank till the executives counter and we have time. Ryo will need to make everything faster than usual, but that´s not impossible”.

“And what happens when the ten minutes are over?” Jin asked.

“Well the silent alarms will go off, their antivirus system once its restored will activate a command to all the doors and gates in the bank and it will shut them all,” Shige interceded, “If we don´t get out before that then we will be stuck there,” he ended, biting his nails nervously.

Jin rubbed his head while Ryo looked at the ceiling defeated. That wasn’t good news at all.

“Ok,” Jin started while rubbing his neck tiredly, “let’s suppose that we could make it, and we actually manage to get out of there, what happens next?” he asked once more.

“The silent alarm will go off,” Shige said.

“Are you kidding me? No matter what we do the alarm will go off?” Ryo asked annoyed.

“Well yeah, it´s the antivirus security system they have, I had to create one hell of a program to give you at least ten fucking minutes!” Shige replied, finally getting angry at them.

Jin and Ryo stared at Shige ready to start a fight.

“Let’s calm down a bit,” Pi said in a soothing manner.

“Calm down? Are you frigging kidding? How the hell are we going to reach the drains if the alarm alerts the police?” Ryo asked fuming.

“Well….” Pi started “There is actually a way for us to do so….we could even avoid traffic and travel much faster down the road, we could get where we need in less than five minutes,” he ended and looked at them.

“How?” they all asked, Shige include.

“Karts,” he simply said.

They all stared at him dumfounded, looking at him like if he went crazy.

“Are you crazy?” Ryo asked him.

“We don´t even know how to kart!” Jin stated in disbelief.

“I don´t even have a license!” Shige said scandalized, they all looked at him, “I mean a real one!” he said defensively.

“That´s why the only ones that are going to drive are Jin, Ryo and me, you will come with me Shige, and the guys will carry the bags with the money,” Pi explained.

“Oh my god, you are actually thinking this through!” Jin exclaimed.

“Of course I am! There are super-karts that can reach up to 260 km per hour,” Pi said smiling at him, “Come on Jin! Remember when we were cheap thieves and we used to steal cars?We got caught in one or two persecution, and we were good!” he said with a nostalgic expression.

“Ok, your boyfriend has lost his mind,” Shige told Ryo.

“He is not my boyfriend!” Ryo clarified for the gazillionth time since they got together, and stared at Pi. Yamapi´s heart clenched, he was more than used to Ryo´s outbursts and stupid clarifications, but it hurt him nonetheless. “Are you sure this would work out?” Ryo asked Pi.

“Yes, we just need to put some bombs around the city to distract the police, we can activate them while we are on the karts once we pass that point so the traffic won´t delay us, but the police,” he said with confidence, ignoring the pang in his chest. He hated when Ryo denied what they had like that, in front of their two closest friends, as if what they had was nothing.

“Mmmm Ok,” Ryo said interrupting Pi´s painful thoughts, “I trust you,” he added and approached Pi for the latter to hug him. Pi smiled against his will, it was so common for Ryo to do something like that when he said cruel things, and it was some twisted kind of way of saying sorry for what his mouth couldn´t say but his heart definitely felt. He kissed him on the temple and he looked at Jin and Shige.

“I don´t want any of you to feel doubts about this, if any of you don´t want to do this then we won´t do it, even if most of us want to; there won´t be democracy this time around,” he declared solemnly.

“What the hell, I need to die of something right?” Jin said and smiled defeated.

“Ok, I´ll try to improve the software to give us some more time then,” Shige uttered and they all smiled at each other.

For the first time they were reaching the most demanding challenge they have ever had.

“Then let´s get to work!” he ordered and Jin and Shige resumed their task. Both with frowns yet excited expressions on their faces.

Pi smiled at Ryo who was currently in his arms and nuzzled his neck. Nothing in this life was scary for him. He felt he could do anything having Ryo and his friends by his side, but Ryo´s outburst made him realize that things couldn´t continue like they were. He would take this opportunity and this challenge to gain courage and clear things up with Ryo once and for all.
They were going to end that mission together as a couple, or there wouldn´t be a “together” anymore….

Part Four: Preparations

They arrived at Kuala Lumpur international airport four days later. The people around them weren´t seeing four Asian men, they were seeing four Caucasian, red haired and green eyed European men. No wonder police were so lost about who they were, it was impossible for them to determinate who they were looking for.

They rented a car and went to the abandoned building they chose for this job. It was really big, with high walls and lots of spacious rooms everywhere. They unpacked and started to work rather immediately, they had less than three months to have everything perfect.

The first thing Jin did was disguise himself as a black man, the guy was so talented. It was amazing; no one would ever suspect that it was Jin under that custom. He was good at languages too, which helped a lot. He went to the bank and flirted with the bank´s manager’s personal assistant, and by the end of the day he had already fucked her and brought home all the information about the internal schedule of the bank.

They never asked how Jin managed to fuck those girls with a disguise; and as a black man? Did that mean that he painted his own dick? No, it was better to not ask.

Shige was working hard on the software, he looked frustrated and tired, but he was doing his best to making it. He had already bought all the equipment he needed. He was literally building a new computer.

Pi was kind of shocked about the amount of money they spent in new computer parts, but he also thought that this kind of job needed it, but that didn´t mean he wasn´t pissed at Shige for spending that much.

It cost more than a hundred thousand dollars in computer stuff that were only going to be used for this job; it was too much for Pi´s liking.

“Shige, can´t you lessen your expenses a bit?” Pi asked Shige with the bill in his hand, “We still have to buy the materials to open the vault.” He pleaded while shoving a bill in his friend´s face.

“Not my problem,” Shige replied, but then he saw Pi´s desperate face and sighed tiredly, how were they going to make a good job if they had such a cheap skate as a leader? “Fine!” he said for Pi´s sake, the latter smiled relieved, “Don´t get too excited ´cause I still need the E.G, Blu-ray disk drive, HDMI capable video cardand the Multi-media card reader, so I still need a few expenses,” He ended, never diverting his eyes from that mess of wires, chips, and who knew what under his soon to be built computer.

Yamapi exhaled noisily in defeat and continued walking through the warehouse.

He saw Jin making some kind of skin color paste and approached him.

“How is it going?” he asked while making some annotations in his notebook.

“Great, can you go bother your boyfriend?” Jin said in a bored tone.

“Hey! I´m checking up on things here,” Yamapi answered offended.

“Yeah whatever,” Jin said and continue working, “Did your boyfriend kick you out so you need to bother us?” he asked Pi smiling knowingly at him.

“Oi, I don´t know what you think of Ryo´s and my relationship, but first, we are not boyfriends, second, I´m allowed to go wherever I want ´cause I´m the boss, and third, I´m the one that leaves or stays, nobody can kick me out of anywhere. Am I clear?” Pi replied angrily at Jin.

“Ok, first, if you are not allowed to have casual sex and if your “boy” gets pissed off for your attitude and scolds you for it, then it´s your boyfriend and second…” Jin stopped for a second to stared at Pi intently, “He did kick you out didn´t he?” he asked amused.

“Yeah….” Yamapi finally replied with an annoyed look while Jin laughed out loud.

“Guys, you are going to love me!” Jin said excitedly the next day and launched himself atop of Shige and Ryo who were eating on the couch.

“Get off!” they both yelled.

“I´m in a nonviolent resistance,” Jin said, letting all his body weight squash his friends.

“I can´t breathe!” Ryo complained, a faint blue color crept over his features.

“Jin, what the hell, move!” Pi said and spanked Jin´s butt cheek, making the latter squirm and release a girly scream.

They all laughed and sat on the couch. All faces were staring at Jin expectantly, waiting for him to tell them why they were going to experience a sudden increase in their affection towards Jin, because normally it was the other way around.

“Do you remember the girl I slept with the other day?” Jin asked proudly, grinning at his friends.

“The Bank´s manager’s assistant?” Pi asked frowning in thought.

“Exactly,” Jin said, then smirked naughtily, “I gave her a present yesterday.”

“Wait, you saw her again?” Ryo asked confused. Wasn´t that against Jin´s own hook-up rules?

“Well, it was for the purpose of the job.I don´t like to repeat dishes, but sometimes you need to do what you gotta do,” he said seriously.

“Oh shut up, don´t act like you didn´t enjoy it” Shige said irritated.

“Are you jealous?” Jin asked amused.

“Of course not!” the younger member of the group defended himself. Well poor Shige, he was the typical guy who would have virtual dates and romances with two dimensional girls like, for example, Zelda or Lara Croft.

“Isn´t that the girl that thinks you are a black dude?” Ryo asked amused.

“Yeah,” Jin smiled and they all laughed.

“Did you paint your cock for that date?” Ryo asked once more with a kinky smirk, not able to avoid his own curiosity.

“Those are my trade secrets, don´t ask!” Jin replied mysteriously, and that earned another round of laughter.

“Whatever Jin, tell us what´s the good news already,” Pi ordered tiredly.

“Oh yeah, well, yesterday I gave that girl….What was her name? Mmmm….well it doesn´t matter, I gave her the video surveillance clock that Shige brought the other day. And I discovered that she put it on her desk, right in front of the manager´s office and three quarters to the left from the first coded door that leads to the vault,” Jin answered proudly, lifting his face while moving it in self-pride.

“Wow that is good news!” Shige exclaimed surprised.

“We do love you more now,” Ryo remarked.

“You are a genius,” Pi said, more dumfounded than in admiration. That analog clock had a built-in, motion-activated video surveillance camera that recorded audio and video and was able to take photographs too; it was the perfect device for checking out the action in a room or office. Jin had done an amazing job putting that so close to the first door.

“I know right?” Jin said. “Shige can you put this on your computer?” he asked and gave him a Bluetooth device. The latter did what was told and they gathered around the computer. Shige rapidly started to type the commands on the computer. If it worked they would have an amazing view of the bank´s inside. “The clock is wireless of course, but it has Bluetooth devise that permits the reproduction in live time. Although I am afraid, because I know even the class one type have a maximum range of one hundred meters, but Shige said the other day that this one was special so I gave it a shot,” Jin added.

“Good job, dude! I´m impressed!” Ryo praised and patted Jin´s back.

“This one is special, it´s a prototype I got on the black market, and it has a larger range. But in case it doesn´t work we can always leave a phone, an iPod, or whatever between the bank and us and in that case the information will reach the phone, then I do my mumbo-jumbo,as you like to call what I do, and I´m not going to start saying how insulting that is considering that you are always making it sound like I´m doing some voodoo job over a computer, but such case is improbable ´cause we are not that far either,” he ended and just a second later an image appeared in front of them.

“Wait, is that the bank?” Ryo and Pi asked in unison.

“Yes,” Jin, who was the only one that had actually seen it, said.

Ryo whistled, “Damn! We could make a fortune just by selling those pillars,” he said taking a look at the ivory marmot surface at the right corner of the camera.

“Wow, it has amazing definition,” Pi complimented while all of them hovered neared the computer.

They stood in silence, observing through the camera. They could see the desk where the clock was supported, a chair, a big office at the front, a plant and a pillar on the right, and finally on the left as Jin said there was a door. That secured door had a code that only the manager knew; the main purpose of that door was to secure the entrance of only people authorized by the manager to the vault. The thing was that if they could manage to break that door in a faster and easier way, they would be gaining time for the escape.

Suddenly they saw a cute girl walking next to the desk and then sitting in the chair. She started typing something on her computer and the movement made two big and round breasts burst out from the low cut neck of her blouse.

“Some good pair of boobs you eat,” Ryo commented.

“You have no idea,” Jin said mischievously, “But her ass is better,” he ended grinning like a pervert.

“Did she love your colorful cock too?” Shige stated ironically.

Pi and Ryo chuckled. Jin glared.

Two hours later, Jin and Ryo were playing cards, Shige was killing zombies on his PSP, and Pi was yawning. Jin´s one night stand was nice to watch the first fifteen minutes, but then it was boring, especially if half of them were gay and one of them has fucked the brains out of said person but they were waiting for the manager to get near the door.

Pi was the first one to see that happen.

“The manager is standing next to the door, quickly!” he said and everybody jumped in surprise. Pi elbowed Shige, “Get a closer look at him” he ordered. Shige started to type rapidly again and suddenly the camera focus was entirely on the manager who was now in front of the closed door “Zoom it on his hand,” he ordered once again and now the camera was directly filming at his hand.

“Are you recording this?” Ryo asked from the back.

“Of course, who do you think I am? An amateur?” Shige asked back offended.

“That´s right, you are only an amateur when it comes to sex,” Jin said mockingly.

“FYI….” Shige started.

“Knock it off, he is logging the password,” Pi stated and they all kept quiet. 14529-4965 they saw those numbers being pressed with expertise and velocity, and then the door was open. Effectively, Jin has done a remarkable job with this.

“Boy I think we just hit the jackpot,” Jin said with confidence.

“Don´t spring your wings so soon, we have plenty of work to do yet,” Pi remarked “Everybody go back to your chores,” and now he was giving orders. But he also could feel how finally everything was taking form; it was destiny telling them that this job, this challenge, was worth it.

His friends growled but complied. Ryo frowned and turned around ready to continue working but before leaving he loomed over Pi menacingly and kissed him softly. Yamapi gulped.

“All work and no rest, isn´t good for your employees Pi-Sama,” Ryo whispered in his ear making him shiver, that was one way of Ryo saying that Pi would be punished that night for giving him orders. Nobody ordered Ryo around, and Pi should´ve known better by now.

Well at least that was worth it too…
