DAMN!
Its been another crazy week.....My dad died last week, Ive never been very close to him, but it still was a strange thing to see him lying in the hospital swollen (kidneys shutdown),in a coma and on his deathbed. I dont know how many times in my life i wished him dead, now its just sad to have seen him in that state. I have mixed emotions about it all.
We are going to take him to Hawaii in Jan. to bury his ashes at the National cemetary of the Pacific. It will be nice to see family I havent seen in 30 some odd years. We are flying into Honolulu on the 23rd of jan. and flying back on the 27. Dispite the circumstances of the trip it should be fun.
Just incase some of you are wondering what he died of: complications from Gastric bypass surgery, a bad heart, mess up liver and a long list of other ailments due to his two tours of duty in Vietnam.
Got a nice conselolation prize, more on that later....
