Application Form, Third Incarnation!
This post will be periodically pruned so that all comments can remain on the first page. The applications removed will only be the ones that have been fully processed.
How It Works (a step-by-step)
Post your application in a comment (or more, depending on how long it is), and wait for ninetailed to come along and approve it. Usually, this is a pretty quick process, but please don't fault her if she takes 2-3 days. Once approved, your character will be added to our Taken Characters list and your character bio (minus the Sample RP) will be posted in the OOC community, newsanctum_ooc, and added to the main community's Memories, for easy reference. After that, feel free to start interacting! :D You might also want to go introduce yourself on the OOC community to get to know everyone.
If your application is refused for whatever reason (the only reasons would be either because it wasn't completely filled in or because you didn't follow the rules), feel free to re-apply. Also, if you'd like to reserve a character to write up an application at a later date, just comment here. There's a one month limit on reservations, however.
On Reservations (keeping in touch)
Due to the fact that all too many reservations idle out with no way for me to inform the people who place them, you will now have to give me some way to contact you, be it a comment on your journal or by email - whatever is best for you. Ideally, I'd like to know if people are still interested in playing the characters they reserved, so this just makes it easier all around. Thank you very much~

CHARACTER NAME: (full name, first and last. If your character only has one name, feel free to make another up)
CHARACTER AGE: (if it's never officially stated -or your character ages throughout the series-, just give a guess)
FANDOM: (a link to an official/information site would be absolutely wonderful here; Wikipedia is a good source)
PICTURE: (link to an official picture; fanart is okay, but official would be greatly preferred; concept/promo pictures are best)
HISTORY: (2-4 paragraphs, more if necessary; don't be afraid to go in-depth!)
PERSONALITY: (about 1-2 paragraphs; remember to state their positive and negative personality traits, fears, etc.)
POWERS/ABILITIES/COMBAT SKILLS: (if not applicable, just put "N/A")
EXTRA: (faction affiliation, any relationships to current players or NPCs)
IN CANON: (just a couple of sentences describing your character in canon; keep spoilers to a minimum)
SAMPLE RP: (for the sample, have it in third person. any scene will do; I know it's a pain, it's just to make sure you know how to prose-RP properly) If you're already a current member of the community (playing a character), disregard this section. ^^
