Going to Ryo's Movie

I have a question. I've never been to the movies before in Japan, and wanted to see Ryo's movie on Saturday.
Don't know if you guys know this, but if you go on the first day, it seems that they will give you a uchiwa as a present. So I was thinking, if I were to go, I'd go on the first day just because I want the collector's item. Haha.
So do you guys know if in Japan, is it easy to get tickets for Ryo's movie on the day of? I was thinking of going to the earliest show in the theatre it is playing in Kyoto. But then I also heard from a friend that tickets for opening day were sold out a long time ago. If that is the case, how would I get my hands on these tickets?

EDIT: I just got my ticket online, so I will be watching it tomorrow!! Maybe at least I can get the Uchiwa? If not, I'll just buy the other goods too. Haha
