I wish you posted this yesterday as I just found a place to get a ticket for SC today and bought one (at a much higher price though). So now I'm pretty much in the same boat you are, as my one friend who would love to come can't and I have no one to ask. >.

I completely understand. I've been wondering what I should do since I feel so bad going alone when the ticket will let two people in.
