Whoa...long time no LJ
Wow, I haven't posted in a while. But it's just so hard to motivate yourself when you're on FB and AIM all the time.
I think if there is just one piece of advice that will make your college experience a million times better, it's to get involved. The first week here, I felt like an audience member to the whole college theatre, just kind of bopping around from one first-year event to another, feeling really lost and confused. (At times I was very lost, at other times I was very confused). But having joined a slew of different activties in just this past week, I feel so much more at home. I feel like I'm a part of the school, and the school wants me here. I love Wellesley.
That aside, we have the most amazing lake on campus. It's a fairy tale lake. It has swans swimming, a gorgeous topiary garden that comes to the lake's edge, and mansions dotted in the background. I bet Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and Cinderella all live around this lake. If you don't believe me, come and take a look-see.
