Congratulations, HP Boys Tennis Team! As an honorary manager of sorts, I send good luck to you guys at State! It's so cool that you guys beat Cretin!
In the less exciting life of Mary, tonight I rode in a limousine for the first time ever! It was kind of a ghetto ride, complete with a lighted mirror on the ceiling that changed colours... But it was still fun, and the Celebration of Excellence ceremony was pretty nice but VERY VERY long. Got to see lots of cool CH-ers, got my teacher date stolen by K. Brown but it's all right since she and I might end up in the same city for college. OOO... like Ali, I too was starstruck by the U.S. Naval Academy Arlington girl, and Kate Buzicky. And who knew Patrick Landreman's brother was ALSO a Rhodes Scholar? That's insane! Dr. Burns is awesome as usual, and so is Mrs. Hawksford (Lincoln-Cadillac?) Ah, I remember her Andre Agassi posters. Who knew I'd join high school tennis?
I love "ingles" for "English." I picked that up from Laur, and it just looks so much better than "anglais." Anyways, I have to write this horrid ingles paper that will either bring me from a C to a B, or from a C to a D. So...it's up in the air. All's I know is that Portis is the coolest counselor ever. I hope they interview some good ones for next year.
I'm v. distraught that I missed Brit + Kevin again tonight, I should've protested like that one Chris Pleasants guy and stayed at home (except he had a much more honorable reason). Oh, the end of the year is drawing to a close and I think I've made my amends with it, now I just have to figure out something meaningful to say about the last four years...
