Yikes, it really seems like college is a hop, skip and jump away. I just got my gigantic Wellesley packet in the mail, sans bumper sticker/t-shirt (my $300 bought me a folder with some papers in it and a t-shirt ORDER FORM). I send deepest sympathies to my roommate because I didn't want to admit to a "Very Messy" room, and opted for "Generally Cluttered", temporarily oblivious to the fact that sometimes it is impossible to set foot inside my room. (TOK ethical dilemma: Should I have lied to my future roommate? Well, I'll bet in college I'll be neater...)
The only good point about getting all that college mail was that there's a required Writing 125 class and one of it offers Sex and the City writing! It's so awesome, except I know that 1) everyone will register for it and 2) all the girls in it might be really annoying. So I'm opting for the more Miranda-esque option of poli sci writing.
Prom was v. fun last night. The music wasn't as bad as I thought it was, but some people begged to differ. The Landmark is a nice place to hold it, and everyone looked fabulous. It makes me kind of sad that it's over, because it's the subject of all those teeny-bop movies I used to love when I was younger. It just seems like the end of school is coming faster and faster, and IB tests are basically my only connection with the academic aspect of school anymore.
UGH, I have such a headache, and I've already taken 2 naps today. I've wasted an icky day and haven't studied a bit for Geo IB or History. But I couldn't care less. Plus, I feel rather feverish and it seems like everyone else is getting sick too.
