How do you switch it to provide simply a rectangular grid of pictures? I have a much easier time parsing my gallery when it's ordered left-to-right, top-to-bottom. A jigsaw puzzle arrangement of left-to-right except this row cuts off early because portrait photo jumps halfway into the next row so now this next landscape photo starts down a half-row from the one right before it and the row after that is short one picture makes it hard to navigate, especially given how you can't sort images in descending order anymore.
I actually felt the old one to be more easy to use, more "direct". Les style and more functional. Scrabook worked well on normal and small screens, this one takes up too much space. Also, I think it makes simple actions such as edit/rename and get link a more convoluted process - it was easier and took less time than now. I appreciate the dedication to keep Livejournal alive, but I can't say I like this change.
On the practicality: I don't like it that the "sort by" doesn't stick. I want the folders sorted by name, but every time I open scrapbook, I get the folders sorted by last update.
The puzzle look must be fixed. Unfortunately not everyone post pics all of the same size, so we don't get the look of the screencap above with dear Frank. We want that look: uniform rows!
Also BLOODY INFINITE SCROLL. BRING BACK PAGINATION.
Edit: wanted to thank you for offering the survey. I learned to never expect sites staff to listen to feedback, but at least you made the effort to ask for our opinion - which is something elsewhere staff don't

Thanks for the feedback! We'll consider the most popular points - there is always room for improvement for every feature.
Yet speaking of pagination - it's there. Pages switch when you scroll, but you can also use arrows or just click the number of the page you want to reach.

The previews retain the originals' proportions, hence they all differ slightly. BTW, what types of sorting order would be most convenient for you?
