QR-code and community entries
Friends, we have a couple new features for those who uses LJ on desktop:
QR-code
Now you can easily login to your LiveJournal account on desktop if you are logged in your account on your smartphone!
Open log in page on computer where you want to log in and click "QR-code button"
Scan this QR-code with camera on the smartphone where you're already logged to your account in browser or LJ App (don't forget to update it to the latest version!)
On iOS QR-code will be recognized automatically. On Android you may need special app to read QR-codes.
Is it safe?
Yes, QR-code works only a short time and you have to confirm logging in on your smartphone every time. And you don't have to type your login and password manually.
Community entries list
If you use modern post editor you can manage all your community entries at one page.
Entries on this page are in the chronological order as you actually published them (like in communities). Also you can select one community to see your entries there.
