Changes in The LiveJournal Shop

We have an important announcement for you.

Starting from March 25, all LiveJournal payments will be conducted in Russian rubles. For user’s convenience, the approximate US Dollar equivalent will be shown in the LiveJournal shop interface and in the shopping cart.

Don't worry, you can still pay by any bank card from any country.

It's a Russian company. Most of its userbase is Russian. The only surprise here is that it took this long.

Yeah, in retrospect it's a little surprising they didn't do it in late 2016/early 2017. (Not that I hadn't already stopped being a paid user even before that.)
