How about using an lj cut instead of eating up my page?

Nah, they're always so proud of themselves for fixing bugs...that they forget basic lj courtesy. This is the only site I pay $ for, but the most buggy. 'Nuf said.

When will you fix the bug where I keep getting jumped to the first page on entries over a page long? And posting comments on one single thread without having to click a specific comment each and every time just to continue talking? Also, I can't customize minimalism? So I'm forced to use the default styles which I don't like. I just wanna be able to use the original comment styles... and ignore the pokemon

Seriously, this. I am so very tired of having to back-button and refresh when I'm talking to people on multiple threads in a custom comment style. Leave me on the page I was on, dammit; I was there for a reason.

....A release with actual useful updates that can be set by each individual user or community without being forced on everyone all at once?

I think I'm dreaming.

Thank you. I like these new updates and look forward to using them.

Are all of our old Writer's Block posts going to continue to work, or will the questions be replaced with "Invalid tag" at some point in the future?

This is a very valid question. I'm also curious

Seconding this. I'm sad to see Writer's Block go though; a lot of the questions were fun!

That is a very good question. Many of my LJ posts are from the daily writer's block, and the beginning of each of those posts is comprised of the embedded writer's block format from the page tag.

I would be extremely upset to see an "invalid tag" notice pop up on the entries. Especially since that tag at the top of the page contains the question being answered, and the subject line is often something witty or quirky that would not let the reader of that post know what the specific original posted question was.
