Usually there is a principle in Information Systems: If it works -- do not touch it. Simple, yeah? But not for everybody. :(

See, that's really cool and all, but there's one problem -- for a lot of people, it doesn't work.

I think the point being made (please correct me if I'm wrong!) was that it did work, so shouldn't have been touched before.

It did, some once upon a time. After that some improvers appeared.

That's why :) It is bad practice to improve working things, and then publish explanations and hoaxes about "DDoS". If their bank will behave similar way, for sure they will at least claim.

%) That is why I am thinking to (1) stop pay for the "service" and (2) put my own CSS locally. There are few hacks I have seen around related to this technique. This is plan A.

Plan B is to migrate to a different site and put a translator in place.

Plan C is almost equal to Plan B except translator. :)

Yeah.)) We will see. About "stop payment" - I would say I am much closer to the solution mentioned after working with so-called "improvements".

I don't know you, stuntpilot99, but whoever you are, you are brilliant. Ginger cookies, tea and a star in the color of your choice ahoy! :D

... This would be one of those occasions where it would be really nice to be able to access the icon dropdown menu. Oh right, LJ switched it to a screenreader-inaccessible version. Grrrr.
