By the way, is that new hideous design even useful for lov-vision and/or blind users? You know, some people use screenreaders to access LJ and from what it looks like, I assume it's not.

Ugh, I guess it shows how shit this place has become that my first instinct is to respond in gifs a la Tumblr, rather than icons, as I would have here, when I didn't hate it so much I only come back to mod a comm.

I'm also extremely suspicious of the accessibility of the redesign. Something about a person who thinks "LJ NEEDS MORE VISUAL TRANSITION ANIMATIONS" says to me that a lack of thought was put into people who are a.) on slow connections, b.) accessing big posts that lag already, OR c.) ARE VISUALLY-IMPAIRED. What the hell, LJ. Seriously.
