We're pleased to report that LiveJournal weathered the recent DDoS attacks without significant downtime last week. OMG yes!

Loooong story, but once upon a time, I camped out for three days to get tickets to a Star Wars film. The film itself was shite, but we fans amused ourselves greatly during our camp out, and one thing to come of it was a long and convoluted crack fic about Wicket being an undercover (and COMPLETELY badass) Jedi. Yeah...good times.

Even better, if you can find a decent copy of it, The 1978 Star Wars Christmas TV Special. The version I saw was an Nth generation Betamax-to-VHS copy, so the quality wasn't great, but it's well worth watching just to know that you are making George Lucas cry by reminding him about shameful past... :)

On another note, I'd suggest The Jungle Book, or Roar!
