sure, They'll give us the option to block all that crap right after they give us a journal-wide opt-out for crossposting to facebook.

Don't need silly games filling my friends page and getting a shitload of mails about joining said games.

There's nothing to be blocked. The games won't publish anything to your friends' journals, so you wont see anything on your friend's page. The only way you'll know if a friend is playing a game is if you visit their profile and scroll all the way to the bottom and look at the Games section.

THIS THIS THIS THIS THIS

LJ, I am so very disappoint. Why do you feel you have to compete with sites that aren't even half as cool as this one? The games just make you a wannabe Facebook, and that's sad.

But I guess as long as you're not trying to link me to them everywhere I turn and badgering me to play them, as long as I can stay inside my little bubble of permanent account with no ads and no superfluous junk, I'll be okay.

Indeed. I really do NOT approve of them, but unfortunately my singular voice will not eliminate them from the site. Wih that in mind, please give us the option to eliminate them from our journals and even our home pages if we do not wish to be involved with them.

And for the love of any deity you choose, -please- be sure we are not being opened to a security risk.
