I agree. Plus it's during the day, which really sucks.

During the day is good IMO, since I'll either be sleeping, doing assignments or in class XD

Probably a good decision to do it during the day 'cos i'm sure they get heavy traffic during night/evening time...:)

Actually, they get huge amounts of traffic first thing in the morning, as well as the times you say. Which is the only bit I don't like about this plan-it hits the US first thing when the office workers get in, it hits the UK when they get home from school/work and it hits Russia late evening.

Much better when they do things in the evenings your time, doesn't hit the rest of the world then...

I'm in South Korea. 1:00-5:00 am couldn't be a better time. :D

Thanks for working around my schedule, LJ! *slides some Won under the table*

Well then I guess they made their decision as per what zetawoof said - they can resolve any issues that might crop up during the normal work day instead of having a sleepy overnight staff...¬_¬

At least it's during the morning for most of you guys. It translates to 5-9pm for me... that's where I'm finally off work and actually have time for LJ.

*sigh* Ah well. It's necessary I guess.

Actually, I do work and work during that time period too; however, I am able fortunate to be able to post and check my livejournal from work.

I don't know you, but would you mind not jumping to conclusions or being so condescending about people during a period of economic instability where more and more people than ever before (at least in my country) are losing their jobs for reasons not of their creating? Maybe try to be a bit more sensative?

Thank you.

I don't know about you, but I think it's pretty dumb to be whinging about not being able to check your LJ during work. Wow, so you'll have to find something else to do on your breaks for one day. Big whoop.

Also, sensitive doesn't have an A, and, as I see you live in the U.S.A., unless the unemployment rate has reached 26%, while technically more people may be unemployed than there were during the peak of unemployment during the Great Depression, the percentage of the population that is unemployed is no where near "more than ever before", and that counts concerning economic stability a bit more than just raw numbers.

1) Whining does have a g in it, right at the end there. Unless you prefer to spell it "whinin."

2) Whinging is in fact a word and is spelled correctly.
