Also, expect a LOT of wank about LJ advertising v-gifts without a cut (the ads'll show up on paid users' friends-pages) and having ads enabled for all users on the dashboard. I don't personally care, but whoo-doggies, there'll be some howling about that.

Oh, I was hoping to recognize more names on the list! I only recognize jameth, and that's only because I met him last month. Or whenever that was. I know he is best-suited to wear bright orange shirts.

Tbh, I don't think it matters all that much whether we recognise any of the names on the list - heck, and even if we do, why do we? Most people recognise Jameth for his trolling rather than for [some, many] what people think is important on LJ.

If it's any help, I went for deathboy = #1 lordandrei = #2 sollitaire = #3
I don't actually know any of them, although I know of deathboy because we've got a lot of people friended in common, but since I actually voted on what was written in the posts linked, and on how much what they appear to want for LJ tallies with what I think I want for LJ, I don't think knowing them matters all that much.
