And now that I've got 4th comment on a news post I'll also observe that normally I can at least be constructive about stuff I don't like around here. But not for the bloody previews...

You don't have to replace the browser as soon as it's out of the box. Safari is pretty nice, and I use it for some things, but I just personally prefer the customizability of Firefox.

Well, now you know; I think the majority of downloadable apps for OSX are installed by copying to the Applications folder. But you know... It's an arrow. I know a lot of people, long-time Mac users and recent switchers, programmers and technophobes, and I've never heard of one of them being confused by that. It seems like you really want to hate your Mac, which is fine, I guess, but seems unproductive to me.

Uh. I have Flashblock, Adblock, Greasemonkey, and a Macbook with Firefox.
I will forever fail to understand how the dumbed-down Windows generation seems incapable of running the easiest OS known to man. I think it lies in the "no really, it's just THAT simple" concept that Microsoft is known for defenestrating in favour of "You must run three different programs, type in ninety different commands, and change your Preferences before continuing" that has served them so well...
Seriously. Try going to the Adblock website. Alternately, you could just mail your Macintosh to me. I know how to treat nice things.
Yes, I can disable them with a cookie. I change PC almost daily, and clear cookies regularly.
Awful, bad UI, bad bandwidth hog, ugly and intrusive. Hate.
