LiveJournal was unavailable between approximately 2pm and 9:30pm PDT on Tuesday, July 24, 2007. We want to apologize for any inconvenience or frustration this caused.

What happened

Dude, being the red-headed stepchild of SA sucked in this case. VOX IS NOT MORE IMPORTANT THAN LJ unless somehow people started paying Vox for accounts (which I may have missed).

(They brought TypeKey, TypePad, and Vox back before LJ :( )

I saw that, too, and I was disappointed. Especially since I have a permanent account and I won't get "paid member compensation".

I've been permanent since 2003... I don't care about the compensation, I care about the service. However, working in this industry has taught me that you restore service to the people who pay before you restore it to the people who have free stuff, which makes the order here more baffling to me.
