the days go slowly
but the weeks fly by.
another monday of not having class until 5:30, so i shut off my alarms one by one and stay in bed until past noon. i have a variety of mundane tasks to complete today, of one which is picking up train tickets. i leave for italy on the 24th and could not be more excited. i will fly into florence and spend two nights there, leaving at some point to daytrip to siena. then, i will take the train to rome and spend another two nights there before flying back to london. this is me being ecstatic. upon my return, i have a day to clean up and recover in preparation for the visit of one evan beaty. he's coming to stay with me for a week and i am just about going crazy waiting for him to get here already. after he leaves, my mother and sister will be coming for something like 5 days, which will be a treat as well. the park girls in london, ooooh my.
this weekend was nice, saw a show at sadler's wells on friday and came in and read for a bit to try and conserve funds. friday night i met up with the lovely couple, jackie and will, who are also here studying for the semester. we went to a mojito bar for a bit before heading down to an irish joint by the name of kavanaugh's. it was really nice to see familiar faces and we had a blast. there are talks of hitting up ministry of sound next weekend and dancing until the sun comes up, but we shall see.
